Game Name: jarns
Last updated: Oct 11, 2026
Introduction
Miknot makes jarns for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what information the Game collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact list. The Game and the services it uses automatically collect:
- Device and advertising identifiers, such as the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA, only if you allow tracking) and the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV).
- Device information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Usage data, such as levels played, session length, in-game events, and how you interact with ads.
- Crash and diagnostic data, such as crash logs, stack traces, and app performance data.
- Game Center data, such as your Game Center player ID, nickname, scores, and achievements, when you sign in to Game Center.
Third-party services
The Game uses the following services. They collect information under their own privacy policies.
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Showing ads and measuring ad performance | Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses data from partner apps |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Understanding how players use the Game | Firebase privacy |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Collecting crash reports to fix bugs | Firebase privacy |
| Apple Game Center | Leaderboards, achievements, and player profiles | Apple Privacy Policy |
How we use information
We use the information collected to:
- Run the Game and its leaderboards and achievements.
- Show ads, which keep the Game free, and measure how they perform.
- Understand which features players use so we can improve the Game.
- Find and fix crashes and bugs.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and tracking
The Game asks your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing your IDFA. If you allow tracking, AdMob may show ads personalized to your interests. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized using your IDFA.
You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your device.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the Game will ask for your consent to personalized ads before showing them. You can change your choice from the Game’s settings.
Children’s privacy
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep analytics and crash data only as long as needed for the purposes above, following the retention settings of each service. For example, Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days. Data held by Google and Apple is kept under their own policies.
We rely on these providers’ security measures, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights and choices
- Tracking: Allow or decline tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt or in your device settings.
- Game Center: Sign out of Game Center, or manage your profile, in your device settings.
- Access and deletion: Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Email us at edwinob@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
- Stop all collection: Uninstall the Game.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
